The Foundation receives and administers all gifts to the ministries of Lutheran Homes of South Carolina, which include Franke at Seaside, the Heritage at Lowman, Rice Estate, RoseCrest, Trinity on Laurens, Lutheran Hospice, BeWell Home Services and BeWell@Home.

How To Spot a Predatory Contractor Before It’s Too Late
Posted on August 27, 2026 - Baby boomers own more of America’s housing stock than any other generation, by a wide margin. According to the National Association of Realtors, boomers now account for 42% of all home buyers and 53% of all home sellers. Redfin data puts the rate of baby boomers who own their own home at nearly 80% in 2025. Many of these homeowners have lived in the same place for a decade or more, which means aging roofs, older systems, and the kind of deferred maintenance that eventually demands attention.
